Using Acupuncture And Chinese Medicine For Healing
By Robert Covillien
People in the Western World have been trying Chinese acupuncture and when pills and doctors can't help. Victims of ailments such as fibromyalgia, tendonitis, and osteoporosis often feel helpless in the face of endless pain and discomfort. People who suffer from depression and chronic headaches will benefit from trying Chinese acupuncture.

A study done on the use of acupuncture and Chinese in the United States concluded that some 8.2 million Americans have received acupuncture treatment at least once in their life. Of those people, 2.1 million have used acupuncture this past year. A method of placing and maneuvering thin filiform needles into predefined body points, acupuncture is intended for curative purposes as well as to alleviate pain. There is more to Chinese than just visiting an acupuncture clinic; there are also a whole host of herbal medicines to try.

In an effort to counter the

side effects of chemotherapy, like nausea and dizziness, cancer patients have begun to adopt acupuncture and Chinese treatments. In the old days, both acupuncture and Chinese herbal remedies were used to treat hard to heal conditions like osteoarthritis, asthma, drug addiction, and chronic pain. Many techniques provide a safe, effective and inexpensive alternative to conventional Western health practices or medications.

Americans are only beginning to realize the advantages of alternative medicines even though the Chinese texts have stayed relatively unchanged for over five thousand years. In California, some schools, in addition to standard classes in biology and chemistry, now offer classes in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, which are reputed to always be fully attended. Maybe green tea and yoga have paved the way for Chinese and acupuncture. Americans seem to love the new choices for pain relief.
Robert Covillien understands the importance of core strengthening as he has been a patient for Los Angeles physical therapy. The results from his Los Angeles physical therapy for sports medicine are unbelievable. He has improved motion and muscle tension 3 fold.
